Why is music, such as the common drumming, so essential for humans as social beings? It is a psychic sensation of music, an assessment given interculturally and therefore archetypal in the Jungian sense, that is to say, it is a question of primal forces, patterns of action and experience, in which a millennia-old experience of humanity manifests itself and for conscious as well as unconscious patterns of behavior of man and also for his "access to the world" are decisive - rhythm as the organizing principle of life.
